Cari-BOO-Con WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION 

Event Date & Time:

Cari-BOO-Con will take place from Friday, September 18 at 5:00 PM to Sunday, September 20 at 6:00 PM, at the 108 Community Hall.

Vendor setup Outdoor and Indoor begins at 3:30 PM on Friday, and vendors must be ready for opening at 5:00 PM. Vendor setup Outdoor begins at 8:00 AM on Saturday, vendors must be ready for opening at 9:00 AM. Takedown at 6:00 PM on Saturday.

Vendor setup Outdoor begins at 8:00 AM on Sunday, vendors must be ready for opening at 9:00 AM

Tear-down will begin at 6:30 PM on Sunday, following the conclusion of the closing ceremony. *** Outdoor VENDORS will have to make arrangements to take down product at night and store inside the venue or take product off the premises overnight.

Description of Activity:

Vendor market as part of Cari-BOO-CON, featuring locally produced goods, food items, handmade arts and crafts, and unique merchandise from small and independent businesses.

All vendors are responsible for ensuring their products and operations comply with all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations, including but not limited to food safety standards, permits, and licensing requirements.

I hereby waive the 100 Mile House & District Historical Society, its officers, and employees from any liability for injury, loss, or damage to personal property associated with activities participated in during Cari-BOO-CON.

I also waive the 100 Mile House & District Historical Society, its officers, and employees from liability for any loss or damage to personal property stored at the facility between early setup and market hours.

In addition, I release the 100 Mile House & District Historical Society from any and all claims whatsoever arising from my participation as a vendor in Cari-BOO-CON.

I acknowledge and agree that vendors located inside the building are required to remain set up and may not begin packing up until after the final speaker has concluded. Failure to comply may affect eligibility for future events.

Vendor Conduct

I agree to conduct myself in a professional and respectful manner toward event organizers, fellow vendors, speakers, and attendees at all times. I understand that:

• My display and products must be appropriate for a public, all-ages event unless otherwise approved by event organizers.

• I am responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free booth space.

• I will comply with all directions provided by event organizers regarding setup, operation, and teardown.

• Any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without refund and may affect eligibility for future events.

I acknowledge that I have read and understand this waiver and agreement in its entirety. I agree that this waiver is made to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and I confirm that I am signing it voluntarily and of my own free will.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Vendors must be 19 years of age or older. Vendors under the age of 19 may only participate if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the full duration of the event. A parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver on their behalf and assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation.

PARENT / LEGAL GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT (if applicable)

I confirm that I am the parent/legal guardian of the above-named vendor (under 19 years of age). I understand and accept full responsibility for their participation in Cari-BOO-CON and agree to all terms outlined in this waiver.
